Sorry, but these versions of the code are very out of date (containing many bugs, including security vulnerabilities).  We support only the latest version of the code; see http://live555.com/liveMedia/faq.html#latest-version

You should begin by using our own (command-line) RTSP client: “openRTSP”; see <http://live555.com/openRTSP/>, to assure yourself that the problems that you are seeing are not due to these other clients.  (After you have upgraded your server to use the latest version of our code, of course.)
