As stated *very clearly* in 
<http://www.live.com/liveMedia/#config-windows>, you must build each of the 
"UsageEnvironment", "groupsock", "liveMedia", and "BasicUsageEnvironment" 
projects first, before building "testProgs".  Also, you should build each 
of these projects using its '*.mak' Makefile.
