I have had a report from someone who has been trying to use Microsoft
Visual C++ 7.1 (VS.Net 2003) to build the LIVE.COM code, and has been
having problems importing each of the project ".mak" files (i.e. Makefiles)
that were generated using "genWindowsMakefiles".
He reports the following error message:
"The project did not contain a Win32 platform configuration. In order for
a C++ project from a previous version of Visual C++ to be opened in Visual
C++ .NET, there needs to be at least one configuration with a Win32
platform target."
Has anyone else run into this problem, and, if so, how did you resolve it?
