Thank you for your response!
I understand that you cannot help with any custom stuff. What I was
trying to convey was that our old modified version of live555 was
significantly faster in setting up the source and client streams than
the current stock version of live555.
Running the live555ProxyServer gives the same result. A significantly
slower time to set up the streams than our previous app.
I do not think there is anything wrong the code, I would just like to
know where to start if I want to decrease the time spent between client
RTSP request and the stream is played on the client.
As a side note, this live555 mod was comitted/sent back as "minilive"
around 2007/2009 according to my colleagues.
A pastebin with the output from live555ProxyServer if it is interesting:

However, we might be able to help you with problems that you might be having with the (supplied, unmodified) “LIVE555 Proxy Server” application.

> What, specifically, do you mean by “streams take about 8-10 seconds to set up”? Have you run “live555ProxyServer” with the “-V” (verbose output) flag? (As noted in our online documentation: "If you are having trouble with the proxy server, then we recommend using the "-V" option to try to figure out what's wrong.”)
